This summer, a hairless cat arrived at our shelter after being hit by a car, which left her with a fractured pelvis. We named her Wrinkles, and she has completely recovered from her injuries. Her kittens were born a week later.

We kept them with us until they reached nine weeks old, when both were adopted into loving homes. The kittens grew up fast, and neither one seemed to be affected by Wrinkles being run over. Wrinkle’s pelvis completely healed, and she runs and jumps as if nothing ever happened to her. Wrinkles is still with us and is now the master of my bedroom and bathroom. She is getting along with Rosie, too.

Kiwi, the poodle who wouldn’t stop regurgitating when she came in, also recovered. She is now in a loving home and is doing well with her new big sister, Maggie, who is a goldendoodle. Just a few months ago, their lives seemed so uncertain, and look at them now!
