Cris comes from a small city in McAllen Texas that is close to the ocean and Mexico. Growing up her favorite thing to do was work with her dad in construction and eventually became a commercial electrician. For many years, she worked on high-rise towers, hospitals – you name it- and one year, she was working on an electrical job in Georgia at a Life Science building. As the building was being finished, the occupants were moving in, including a lot of animals. She realized she indirectly helped create a facility that did testing on animals, monkeys, dogs, rats, etc… This unpleasant discovery led her to stop being an electrician.
Fast forward some years later, and Cris met Cinda in 2007 when she was working for a Phone company and flying helicopters for fun. When they first met, Cris was not a fan of veterinarians based on her experience – but Cinda proved her wrong – some vets are on the good side of helping animals. They have been together ever since and married later on.
Cris and Cinda’s common goal is to help the animals and each other, and every day they make sure to make that happen.
