Foster

Fosters needed for animals in need, care for special needs animals, or if our facility is full.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Rosie's Rescue Ranch Foster Parent. The Foster program exists to help animals that have already been surrendered for adoption.

I agree:

Foster animals are legally owned by the Rosie's Rescue Ranch.
I will immediately return the foster(s) to the Rosie's Rescue Ranch, if requested.
I will contact the Rosie's Rescue Ranch immediately if there is a change in the foster animal’s health status, if there are behavior issues or if you determine you are no longer able to successfully foster the animal for any reason.
I will comply with all follow-up appointments for vaccines and exams by bringing the foster(s) to the Rosie's Rescue Ranch as required.
It is my responsibility to ensure that my own pets are always current on their vaccinations. This includes the Bordetella vaccine within the last six months for dogs.
To provide food, water, shelter and humane treatment for my foster(s) at all times.
I am comfortable giving and will administer all medication to my foster and, if I’m unable, I will contact the Rosie's Rescue Ranch for assistance and guidance. Otherwise, I will not foster an animal requiring home medical treatment and/or care.
I will prevent the foster(s) from running at large. Dogs must be on a leash or kept in an enclosed area; cats must be kept indoors.
I am aware of any restrictions in place for my residence and am permitted / have received permission to foster.
I will attend a mandatory foster orientation prior to fostering any animal.

I understand:

Medicine will be provided for sick animals.
Kitten and puppy milk replacement formula will be provided for orphans without a mom.
Additional supplies for fostering will be provided, if available.
Foster needs may range from a few days to several months, depending on the situation.
A Rosie's Rescue Ranch representative will discuss the time commitment expected for each foster so that I’m aware of the expectations. I also understand that it may be possible to split longer time commitments with another foster to at least assist in some way within my capacity.
Some animals may not survive or may have to be humanely euthanized if they become seriously ill or display a dangerous temperament as this presents a danger to the public and other animals.
Anyone interested in adopting my foster animal(s), including myself, must go through the standard adoption process.
After I submit this application, I will be contacted by the volunteer coordinator to schedule the required foster orientation.

I have read and agree to the above terms.(Required)
