Meet Jag

Jag came to us last May as a rescue dog. He had been a breeder and was no longer needed and he had recently had a dental which removed all his teeth.

His left eye was chronically infected, and the previous owner had stopped medicating it. The eye looked like a raisin, and we were concerned that we were going to have to remove it.

He is 11 years old but still full of life. His left eye has been a real challenge, as it was not producing tears at first. He got antibiotic drops and other drops to help produce tears. He also got pain medication until he was more comfortable.

He is doing great now and has several of our other rescue dogs that he plays with daily.
