I will not give his name or the client’s name, but this last month, we had a Bulldog come in almost dead. He had been rescued from Utah, and the new owner drove straight through to us. He was severely emaciated, could barely walk, and his tongue was turning blue. We rushed him back to take radiographs, and his stomach was bloated but not twisted, and his lungs were full of fluid. We treated the bloat medically and relieved the gas in the stomach and gave him a diuretic to remove the fluid from the lungs. We hospitalized him and kept him.
By late that evening, his tongue was pink, and the bloat was resolving. He started walking around and wanted to be hugged. He was so cute. We all fell in love with him. I got the history of where he came from and told the new owner I would like to turn the place he got him from in for cruelty. He agreed and said there were 26 other dogs there that may be in danger.
I made the phone calls the next day and was surprised at how quickly Animal Control of Salt Lake City responded. They were fantastic. They took my call seriously, and I sent them all my records, radiographs, and pictures of the boy. Turns out, the officer remembered him when he came to them last October and could not believe what happened to him. They did find the lady who abused him and confiscated all 26 dogs. The officer called me and thanked me twice for turning her in, and gave us the website to see the 10 dogs that already got adopted out to new homes. Yeah, for doing something about animal cruelty!!!!

God bless you Dr Cinda, for all that you are doing for these innocent abused animals. I would become a mass murderer! People are just wrong and so broken.
Thank you to the new owner . His quick response and your fantastic team saved this pups life.
